About jumping into a different car and a different class and destroying the competition.

Hopefully I do as well next weekend.

It was a nice confidence booster before the National ProSolo this weekend and the National Tour next weekend.

Congrats.

Always nice to know that you can beat somebody driving the same type of car.

It really wasn't much. Street tire isn't a real class per say. It's a local class not a national class. But, still felt good racing against some of the people I started autocrossing with 5 years ago.

we run street tire and open tire classes as well to up the competition because there are very few classes with more than one car

That just means you need to come up to the Northwest Region!

Wish Knoxville had autox. I would so do it if we had it.

On a recent special type of event ... a shoot out event based on PAX, we gave all classes except ST a special adjustment for R-compound vs street tire. It allowed my Protege5 to win, over an S2000, a Mustang GT. It helped that on the final shoot out in the afternoon with 20 cars it started to rain a bit ..... love the rain on street tires, with ABS, and rallyx experience.

Ya... Have you ever driven on the Kumho or Hoosier rains? They're AMAZING! It's like driving on fast street tires in the dry.

I think we've done a street tire pax before (Think it was like .950 or something). It's hard to do since the street tires are getting faster every year.
