Figure this really isn't vehicle specific and the corolla forum I frequent has no answers.....or traffic lol.

So, I am adding a sump kit to the fuel tank on my 80 Corolla and the kit has 2 outlets. Now, I know this is meant for running 2 fuel pumps, but would there be any negative effects if I use the second port for a return line?

Current setup is a walbro 255, ebay FPR and 3/8 line for feed and return.

You should be fine just using one. Looks like you are using -6AN and that is PLENTY for a single Walbro 255lph

Thank you. I wanted to ask cause people on the corolla forum said I shouldn't use the second port as a return line, but couldn't say why. They would always say to run it through the top, but I suck at running lines lol. The return line going to the sump kit makes things alot easier.
