Everyone says it's possible to remove the fuel pump with the tank attached.
On my old 89 GT, I had to drop the tank.
On the GTS, I have to drop the tank. The port under the rear seat allows access to the sending unit and float, but the pump is actually back like 6" under another hump (where there should be a panel IMO).
Should I just quit trying shortcuts and drop the f*ing tank all the way? If I remove the floats, I can reach in the tank and grab the pump, but there's the spash dealio stuff in the way so I can't really remove it fully.
