It's a 287 mb zip file. Very valuable/useful book for design/engineering. If someone has a way to host it, that would be ideal. Otherwise, I can burn and send CDs or even try to transfer the file a couple of times to individuals.

I thought you might want one. :)

How would you like it? Do you have somewhere that it can be uploaded to, or would you like me to send you a CD?

I would like it also. It doesn't change much from printing to printing, but it would be good to have an up to date one.

Does anyone else have room/bandwidth to save the file? Between my and Adrian's busy schedules, I don't know when this is going to happen.

E-mail me you crazy bugger. I'll try to set up an FTP account for you to let you upload directly to my site.

If not, how much room does Robert have on this site?

It has nothing to do with Celicas. It contains TONs of essential design tidbits.

Alright, this is going to be done with a .torrent file. Everyone who wants this should get a bittorrent client setup and ready to go. The torrent has been uploaded at Suprnova.org, and I will post the address to it when it gets approved for hosting.

Okay...here's the torrent. Someone needs to let me know if this is working or not.

Well, I am uploading to two people, so it's working. I will seed it for a few days at least, but I'd recommend getting it sooner rather than later. It will be a much quicker download if there are more people downloading at once (doesn't seem like the way it should work, but it does!).

hey. ive never used bittorrents. where do you get a client

Hooligan
12-13-2004, 06:25 PM
There are tons of clients out there, but I have heard that Bit Tornado is best. Just google it and you will find a download link.

Torrents are really sweet because you download little bits from everyone dowloading all at once. With that being said, when you are done, don't close your torrent. Those who are done downloading should leave the torrent up so that others can still download from you. I (as well as the others downloading) would appreciate it if those who are done open their torrent back up.

PM me about it. I will host it on a FTP on my computer.

How do you open it back up once you've closed it?

Hooligan
12-14-2004, 05:53 AM
Open the .torrent file and click on the zip that you originally saved. The client will then quickly scroll to 100% complete and you will be seeding again.

Don't worry about it though. I don't see anyone even downloading so it doesn't matter.
