So I had been digging in the manual a bit to find this one, since you can not clamp the TE1 and E1 pins like usual, as the PFC works differently.

So there are two methods, depending if you have the datalogit or the commander.

First, the commander:

Step 1: Get your car warmed up to operating temp and idling at an even beat

Step 2: Put your car somewhere in the shade and pull the engine cover inspection panel.

Step 3: Using your PowerFC hand commander, turn off your idle ignition control, then go to monitor and look at what timing your engine is running at idle. Most likely it is beyond 10 degrees, then go in to settings (IGN/INJ). This screen allows you to make changes to the fueling or timing dynamically without applying it to the map. Now remembering what timing your car had at idle, manually reduce your ign amount by whatever the number is back to 10 degrees

Step 4: Shoot your timing light at the pulley and check adjust the dizzy so that it is marked for 10 degrees

Step 5: Put your timing back the way it was, and bolt up your inspection cover. You're done.

Now, for the Datalogit using FC-Edit:

From the manual:

A-4-5 Idle-IG Control ^ (settings 1 tab)
o Switch Idle Ignition Control on or off
- Check box for Idle-IG Control.
- Uncheck box if you DON’T want Idle Ignition Control
o Use mouse to Check or Uncheck the “Idle-IG Control” check box
• Switch off if you want to check ignition timing with a timing light

Here it is in the "Function Select" box:

Then, highlight and set all the cells in the idle area to 10.

Shoot your timing light at the pulley and check adjust the dizzy so that it is marked for 10 degrees

Put your timing back the way it was, and bolt up your inspection cover. You're done.
