Was reading wikipedia, on the A series engine.

I just found out that the 3rd gen was offered with a 4age.

AA63 designation

Not on the celica article, but under the 4age.

A quick search shows they are EDM.

I learned something and figured i share.

did it specify also what 4age it is?

I believe it was a bigport 16v but I'm not 100%.

yes some places did get 4age 3rd gen, yes people have swapped them, then complain about utter lack of torque

i wouldnt have one in a 3rd gen, rolla yes, but thats like a mini-3rd gen

they also offered the 1ggte as well and the less famed 21r
