Nevermind, I found it via google.

For anyone that's curious, it's sometimes called a battery lug crimper.

You stick the terminal in the dohicky, and smack it with a hammer. This quickly crimps the larger gauge wires.

I was using a grout removal tool that has long since broke and my sledge to do it. Same general idea, just not as spiffy looking.


Here's the funny thing. I started making up the engine/tranny grounds & battery leads for the starter/fuse box. After I hit my hand for the 3rd time I decided I try to find one. Looks like it's an online only sorta deal though. I may just put my wrist in danger a few more times, I only have 3 more ends to make.

I have as well at my old shop. It IS a nice tool, but for someone who doesn't do this stuff for a living... ;)
