You can use the header off the 97-99(I believe) Camry, or there are a ton of headers on ebay, must not have looked very hard.

he is correct about the camry header, or OBX or Pacesetter should make a header for it avaliable on ebay

I got the camry header for mine and it looks like if you get the pipe that goes to the flex pipe, you can cut the flex pipe in half to get it out easier, you can cut the flex pipe off and fit it to you existing exhaust with minimal effort. After you cut the front section including the flange off of course.

I have these headers I want to get but can nay1 tell me if the downpipe that go with it will fit my 92 celica gts?

imo the camry header is great for budget. plus you dont have to worry about shady aftermarket companys and their cheap metals. but i recently upgraded to a hotshot header....much better.

To all who want to know, I have found the answer...
for the 5th gen (90-93) celica header situation.
M2 a branch of Megan Racing Perfomance has made a 4-1 header set for the 5sfe

So Enjoy

or they could buy the headers from mimousa comes with down pipe
the only problem with all the headers we find for our 5s is that they have no ceramic coating the one i bought in 07 is starting to rust.

I have had problems with the obx header i bought them a year ago and have had the o2 sensor blow completely off and had them crack about 3 times. good thing im taking welding classes haha.
but they might work for someone else. who knows?

chrome? the only headers i have found for the 5sfe is stainless steel. so i dunno where you found those?

P.S. if you buy stainless steel headers, wear cotton gloves or something so grease from your hands do not touch the metal. cause everything where you dont touch is gold and where you do is like a blackish-purple...not good looking at all haha

i was going to suggest the ones on the megan racing site. I saw this exact one form several sellers on ebay. its the exact same thing. benefit; stainless steel.
i really want to get these not a bad price. look cool and im sure they are a lot better than stock. After all you can expect that much more performance (at least noticeable) until an exhaust comes in. now pacesetter Monza makes an exhaust that comes with headers.

Yeah i have seen those but at the same time im not a fan of the two tips that come on the monza exhaust, i just bought a megan racing muffler and went to a local muffler shop and had them mandrel bend some 2.5" pipe and make my own exhaust haha. sounds good and only 60 bucks... thats a bargain.

OK, this is probably obvious to most people here, but I'll ask since I'm new to most everything car related and am trying to learn (also, maybe this has been answered before, I didn't check):

If I were to get one of these headers, the Megan or ebay or whatever, would I need to drop the catalytic converter or just move it down/back?

If I drop the catalytic converter, do I need to do something with the O2 sensor to ensure proper operation?

There's only 1 O2 sensor and it's before the cat. If you use and aftermarket header you'll need to put the cat somewhere else in the exhaust system.

I run the Megan header, but I got it on eBay from Surewinproducts. It was a good deal since they accidentally put it up for $25 and free shipping, lol.

well since that header is really the only option, is it possible to just buy it and not worry about the cat? or do you need to buy somthing else like a new cat or pipe of some sort. i want to buy these headers but what else do i need? or i am able to just bolt them right up?

no need to buy anything else, it'll bolt right up. (surewinproducts ebay header)
it will delete that first cat. and you can place it somewhere else if you like, like phylis stated. and the o2 sensor will bolt right up.

these look exactly like the ones i had way back when. you can feel the difference the most mid-high rpm but definatly falls off a few hundred rpm before redline (i had cai/header/exhaust). Definatly a bit more hp over the stock manifold. definatly the exhaust note gets louder.

^+1.

I love my new exhaust. CAI, TB spacer, header to 2.25" pipe exhaust to magnaflow muffler.

I'll link to my youtube'd sound check later.

Here's the vids I was promising. First one is the stock exhaust with the new header, a CAI and TB spacer. In the second I replaced the plugs and wires and had a custom 2.25" cat-back made with a resonator and a Magnaflow muffler w/dual 3" tips. No Cat atm, gonna fix soon.
