I've only read woes of people replacing their fuel filters. Bending lines, rounding the bolts, etc.

I just jumped under Jasmine, grabbed a 14mm wrench, knocked the line bolt off with no issues. Didn't use any penetrating oils, etc.

This just mean that it's gonna be cake walk now from here out?

If you got the connection on the bottom off with no issues, then all of us who have (tried) to replace our fuel filters officially hate you.

I figured so, I had a bitch of a time doing my other celica's fuel filter when I had that. That sucked.. but this was easy.

I bent the line in my GT. Used rubber hose to repair it.
When I replaced the filter in the ST, I thought I broke it. It spun freely once I broke it loose. Turns out I just had to keep wrenching it loose and it came off no problem.

Prolly helped a bit because the engine isn't in the car, so I had plenty of room to work as well.

Meh.. off to mount up the tires & roll it out in the driveway to drop the engine in.
