I got this Celica cheap and im slowly working on it. like everyone.. hard to find mods for this thing. i need a new CAT but Ive read up on the High Flow myth.. I wanna cut it off and put a flex pipe in the line but i was told to drill through the hole and open up the stopped-up cat... which would be the best idea?.. idk how my car would handle a flex since its a drastic change in the exhaust from clogged to a non-honeycomb system. i have no power and if a Uni. Cat would be the better choice...i need to find a welder lol:11doh:

A high flow is the best choice. But more than likely what your looking at in the exhaust is your resonator. I do believe that the primary cat in a 4g gt is in the downpipe. I would strongly reccomend against gutting a cat. It really messes with the flow.

Your cat is built into the manifold. It is not a piece that can be replaced with pipe. Either replace it or put on a header and get a universal inline cat.
