Sorry guys this might be a stupid question, but im in need to buy an engine gasket set. What is the difference between 3sge vs 3sgelc? Can i buy 3sgelc gasket set for 3sge? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure the 3sgelc is a cali-compliant engine, while the 3sge isn't.

so the gaskets would fully fit a 3SGE?

L and C are outdated specs. Every 3S-GE in the US is technically a 3S-GELC. Airc the L is transverse mounted, which went away because the motor was always transverse mounted. The C meant it had emission control features, but not necessarily CARB spec.

That's how I remember it.

hahaha >.< going for the reseal first then most likely boosting it. would it be cheaper to buy a new engine or jsut buying it seperately
