Perhaps the front from a gen6 coupe? I forget what it was called though.
The one with the solid headlamps?

hmmm that could work they arnt wrecking those yet, i kind of wanted a gt4 hood, maybe from a 5 gen even but i dont like the 4 rounds as much as the pop up, i'm putting in a gen 4 3sgte so i can either hood scoop or front mount it. i can also swap the stock headlights out for e36 bmw ones.

I think the 185 looks pretty good.

But the front will be curvy and the back end square

NO! Besides, the widths are very different. It would take ALOT of Bondo. I think the current front looks ok. Maybe a new grill and bumper...

Yep, a Curren job would probably be a tad easier and would flow better.

the back of mine is a liftback with curved wings, if it was a square sedan rear i wouldnt bother...

No reason to get mad. No one said photoshopin is easy. I say don't waste money on trying to change a car like that. You either give it performance and leave it as a sleeper, or don't touch it and drive it as is until you can afford something you prefer. Sometimes its best to leave a car as basic transport, and not put anymore into it then you have to.

you just can't put a rounded front on a square car. It just looks weird.

its not a swaure car though there are alot of carves, tail light lenses the rear pillars etc, would have sideskirts also etc etc, and im gen 4 3sgte'ing it.

was just an idea, it seems i have my answer cheers guys.

A 165, ae86 or aw11 front would work better then a 185 front. The amount of curvature vs that of the camry is far greater on the 185.

You could always throw some fender flares on it, and get a cool front lip. The problem with doing too much to cars like this is that it is far too easy to make this kind of car look tacky and worse buy doing too much.

since first pic ive rolled the guards and put a lip spoiler on it, the look still isnt quite what i want though.

I bet the easiest thing to do to drastically change the look would be to remove all of the black rubber molding on the sides, fill it in and smooth it out, and find an alternative to the bumper cover/ air damn area.

what about an ae92 front?

cms-gt4

Ae92 looks a lot like the car he has now. This one looks decent.
I think finding a decent front bumper would be the trick. Plus a lowered stance and some nice flush wheels can go a long way too.

Edit: This article says the car is based off the notchback 4th gen celica. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corona
So if that is true, a 165 front might not be too hard to swap on there.

better, closer warmer. Goes well with the boxy-er look.

When I opened this topic, I thought he was asking if he could trade some Corona (the alcoholic beverage) for an st185 front end.

oh my.

A new Grill, matching wheels and some dark tint and you will be good to go.

yeah man its tinted already, and i can pick which wheelset i want to run... the 17s are a bad offset and it drives like a hillman hunter. but the oz racing white rally mags are a bit johnny ricer.

I think some fabrication on your part with an ST165 front bumper would look fantastic.

Forget the grill, just put your intercooler there. ;)
