we've all heard of chips and wat not and all the little performance parts that you can buy and we all know they dont work but lets actually look deeper into this and discuss it are theese actually facts blown out of proportion or just complete bullsh!t?

ok so first up is this nifty little product ive found it basically claims to "stabilize" the voltage of your party and reduce stress now in theory less use of the battery and less stress on the battery would give you a horse or two but in my opinion its not going to do much. this can be found here > http://www.performancechiptuning.com/Voltage+Performance+Chip+Module/7/

ok send product is this "chip" that even lets you adjust it to give you more power or better MPG. it claims to adjust the air/fuel mixture to get a desired ratio. fact: a good fuel to air ratio will give you better performance! fact: the stock mixtures are pretty optimal as it is. so in theory if this product did wat it says it does then it would give you HP however i dont see it working at all. product can be found here>> http://www.performancechiptuning.com/Stage+1+Performance+Chip/8/ there is a similar product here with possibly fake dyno results? http://www.engineperformancechip.com/toyota-performance-chip-toyota-celica-1990-2005-c-38_763/power-performance-chip-x2-p-8

next up is the ever popular "electronic turbo/ supercharger" we all knwo that regular chargers work fine but what about theese? fact is more air = more power. my thought is that theese cant even spin fast enough to keep up with the engine sucking in air on its own let alone force it in. now they do say its dangerous to have it turned on all the time which if it where real then yes it would be due to the fact you dont get an electronic intercooler! lol its got soem truth but dout it at all works product found here >> http://www.performancechiptuning.com/Electric+Supercharger+5+PSI+Vortex/10/

theese are both about the same they both bolt into or replace your O2 sensor and again claim to maximize the air to fuel ratio and have a bit of truth to them. again yes better fuel air ratio more power but again stock is almost perfect as it is. so we trick the lame by giving them facts and then lying saying that this maximizes the facts well sorry hun but you got scammed! http://www.engineperformancechip.com/toyota-performance-chip-toyota-celica-1990-2005-c-38_763/oxygen-performance-module-p-7
http://www.engineperformancechip.com/toyota-performance-chip-toyota-celica-1990-2005-c-38_763/x3-performance-chip-with-o2-sensor-control-p-6

so discuss theese products tell me what you think are any of them going to add power? i think no but i might be wrong. and the facts wat are some of the facts and some of the lies? wat are soem facts that they blew out of proportion?

All of the above are bullshit.

I havent looked at your links. They are a waste of time.

As is a TB Spacer.

Nope. Depending on the engine and year you are talking about, the mixtures can be rather rich for our Celica's. This is why a product that actually works (SAFC) can help a 90-91 5sfe pick up ~9whp (http://celicatech.com/forums/showpost.php?p=127772&postcount=24).

I agree that the above products are junk, just pointing a discrepancy out.

correct and here is the link with the explantion to it all i was just hoping we could consider the facts they use that trick people into the scam.
