Hey guys,

New to the site :)

Had a look through a few threads and couldn't find my answer, apologies if it's there somewhere!

So, I have a '94 Convertible ST202, imported from Japan (I'm in Australia) and I really want to put cruise control in as I do a lot of highway driving. Does anyone know if it was an optional extra?? Or will I have to buy one of those universal numbers. Also, if I do have to buy the latter, does my model have VSS?

Thanks!

Clair :fruit:

Hello Clair.

Welcome to CelicaTech! :)

You can in fact use an OEM unit. It was available as an option.
Likely the only difference would be getting the LHD cables for it.

Perhaps one of our other fine members has the numbers for the cruise control related parts for a Gen 6.

Hey, thanks for the super quick reply!

Now I just have to source one, hopefully here in Oz! :)

Remember, you can likely source one from any ST2xx series.

You will need the complete system though, it includes cables, control module, switch and actuator.
There may be some additional wiring, but I think not.
