tires say 44, which i have in there now, but the middle of my tire seems like its wearing away more than the rest. what psi does everybody else usewith the 7th gen GTS rims?

Uh... It's all about the tire man.

My Dunlop FM-901's call for a maximum of 45PSI I think.. I like to keep it around 36 though..

ibanez gfx, that kind of wear pattern indicates too much pressure (middle of the tire bulges out and wears more).

The pressure on the side of the tire is usually a MAXIMUM number. You don't want to run that much. I usually run around 35-38psi all around.

yeah, i knew that that was too much, but i wanted a rough estimate so that i wouldnt be wearing the outside of the tire too much now
thanks hooligan

It's just all about what the tire is rated for.

I like to run my rear tires with slightly less pressure.. like 3PSI lower than the fronts.. that way a little more of the rear sits on the ground.. little better traction.. since there is a lot less weight back there, not as much wear.
