well its tres facile, ami!

its not like the MR2 pump thats rediculously hard.

But all you should have to do is open the backseat and get access to the pump.

A walbro 255 should be want you want for around 100 bux, otherwise if you want to spend the money get a supra twin turbo fuel pump.

I don't think there is a part number to be honest.

Poke around in the Forced Induction forum, there's an assload of information there about fuel pumps. There's a thread somewhere from me recently about the supra fuel pumps.

Also, just search the net for 'walbro 255 fuel pump'. You'll just have to splice the wiring to power it (make sure to upgrade the primary pump power wire).

Hatchback, yes. Coupes didn't have an access panel and the tank must be dropped.

Wow, I'm glad they changed that for the 5th gen coupes.

There's never been a 4 door celica period.

Guys, the coupe is a two door, the hatchback is considered a three door. Calm down. :)

I know that, I was just stating that I have never seen a 4door celica.

The strange thing, when I had to replace the pump in my old GT liftback, I pulled the rear seat, and opened the access panel but was not able to get the pump. I had to drop the tank to replace the pump. Hopefully I was just not doing something right and I don't need to drop the tank on the gt-s liftback, cuz I hate dropping fuel tanks.

Upgrading the fuel pump just allows more fuel to flow.

For example, my stock fuel pump in my 162 (3sge) can do about 225LPH, or 60GPH.

This isn't enough of a flow rate to feed the amount of fuel to my new engine (st215, 3sgte) and the fuel injectors. I'm upgrading to a 255lph (or just shy of 70gph). This will provide enough flow for me now, and in the future if I ever want to get more HP out of it (or goto e85).
