You can also get the Factory Toyota LSD from the 05 MR2 Spyder.

How is a 2005 mr2 spyder transmission a factory option for a 7th Gen Celica...it's not even the same car?

Joey is saying there is a factory option available in a sense.

However youre right. There was no option available you could ORDER from toyota and have it installed from the factory.

So, technically bahamut is correct. There was no factory available option for an LSD. Everything you install is "aftermarket" even if the "aftermarket" part comes from Toyota.

Aftermarket - 1. the market for replacement parts, accessories, and equipment for the care or enhancement of the original product, esp. an automobile, after its sale to the consumer

It's OE... just not for that specific model, it's used in the same transmissions (GT shares same trans as MR2 Spyder, GTS shares the same trans as the Lotus Elise, both of which use that LSD).

But honestly, I'd rather have a toyota part than some OBX or *insert company other than Quaife here*.
