Considering purchase of this to have quick digital voltmeter that serves a function as well (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0007TC9TY/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A3GD32M2NDK0PC&v=glance)?

Personally I like it, and am considering buying it. I would mount it in the car somewhere, or possibly just right by the strut or somewhere underhood I can just open up & see the readings.

Well there's a few reasons I'm thinking about it.

1. I need a 1/0 to 4 distribution block for my car.
2. I don't fully trust a 20 year old car's voltmeter
3. I can knock out 2 birds with 1 stone by getting said distribution block. I get a backup voltmeter, and can split my wire.

I had a in-line fuse holder for my alternator power wire upgrade on my 5th gen that had a digital volt meter incorporated in it. It was rather nice. I hooked it up to a pin switch, so whenever my hood was closed, it would shut off, and when it was open, it would turn on.
