View Full Version : Shitty Luck

Well, something else crappy happened today with me, the celica, and offroading. I was just mobbing around in the mud (pretty damn fun in a car), and was just going along fine, when the car hit something hard and launched in the air. Well, I had my own version of the titanic... a big ass rock... wait a boulder was hiding in the mud, and it screwed up a few things.

First it hit my oil pan, and it put a nice groove in it (good thing it is steel and did not get opened up). Next it screwed up my exhaust in 2 places. My OE flex section is all fubared, and my new HKS catback has some nice dents in it that I need to cut out and replace with some new piping (luckily it is not in a bend, just a straight section). Lasty, but definately not the least, is the floor pan for the back passenger side is messed up really bad. It's really high now, and I really need to pound it back down.

The car sounds like utter shit now, and I really need to get the exhaust fixed! However, the local exhaust shops want a shit ton of money to fix the damn thing, so I'll have to wait for awhile until I figure out something to do. .... Great.... *sigh*, I have bad luck with this car. It's not the cars fault, and really not even my fault. It's just plain ol' shit luck.

If the floor pan didn't get hammered, it would have been worth it. The exhaust is easy to fix, and the oil pan isn't that bad. The floor pan is what makes me mad, lol. The car is a beast in the mud though... and the snow... and the gravel... pretty much anywhere.

Get a skid plate if you make offroading a habit.

I am assuming it's your alltrac, if it is too bad of luck I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

Lol, nice try

Not into trucks... I'll get one, one day, for hauling my race cars, or to get parts. That's all I'll ever use a truck for.
