Just curious.

I have a lot of oil/grease/grime/road shit built up mostly on the passanger side of Jasmine (obviously due to the power steering leak combined with CV boot failure and such).

Just wanting to see and/or get some ideas on how to get this off.

First I was thinking lifting up the nose of the car and blocking the rear tires, and then blasting with a pressure washer (but that would result in shit running down driveway which HOA may get pissed off about).

Then I'm thinking of lifting it again, and getting on a creeper and rolling under there with a plastic tarp & scraping the shit off with a putty knife (more manual, but keeps shit from geting all over driveway).

Yeah, problem being though car has no driveline, no engine, and closest wash is about 1/2 mile away :)

I'd like to clean it all up before I drop everything in. I have a giant tub of Purple Power, thinking of using that and the garden hose w/ the sprayer to blast it.

+1 soak the undercarriage with the purple power, a few times, then blast/brush

I coat mine and let it stand for a day or two. Then a waterblaster connected to the hot water tap does wonders.

my neighbor has this kind of contraption and it works great, he hooks it up to a pressure washer and it really cleans off the mud off his jeep
