The EPC? Yeah, you can do JDM/USDM/Euro and even lexus... but that takes a code or some such... so it's kind of a waste.

The EPC? Yeah, you can do JDM/USDM/Euro and even lexus... but that takes a code or some such... so it's kind of a waste.

No code or anything needed for JDM/EDM. For Lexus, u need something.

I've been using both USDM and JDM on the EPC the only thing is you have to switch between them since you can't have both regions at the same time. Just goto Initial Setup, and select your CD Area after you've installed the CDs.

I would like to obtain the code on decoding the CDs like toyodiy.
Doesn't look that hard, but still..

Shadowlife25
12-18-2009, 02:31 AM
The EPC covers JDM/USDM/Euro. No code necessary.

Like Steve said, you just need to change your "home" area when you load it up.

The files are larger for the complete EPC, so if anyone wants it we'll have to set up an FTP

I will be uploading this shortly to Tim's storage.

You would need to DL it and then have a programs like ISObuster.

Use ISObuster to load the various images to a virtual drive and install them all.

It IS time consuming. Figure about 6 hours to install it in it's complete form that includes all regions.

If only the US region, it shouldn't be more than an hour or two.

Hey - thanks - I know that must have been a big deal to upload ~17 GByte.

I keep asking for something that I might not really need anyway - I have everything that I know of from the Toyota DIY site for 1992 Celicas - and perhaps that is all I would need. I haven't really had a chance to look at what I've got already - as the holidays intervened and now I need to get ready for a ten day trip to Shanghais China beginning this next Saturday AM.

I suppose what I am expecting is something like the factory manual I had for my 1967 Plymouth - a manual that not only tells you how to replace some component but also how to rebuild it - ALL the components in the car.

Examples might be - how to rebuild your alternator - rebuild your power steering pump - even how to rebuild your transmission.

Perhaps I expect too much and Toyota never reveals all this information like Detroit did.

It's not like I would actually try these things - it's like I would like the information and assembly breakdowns that would be part and parcel with such instructions.

yeah don't do that.

Open Toyota.rar with winRAR, then extract the Toyota folder somewhere (~17Gb)

Use a ISO thing (dameon tools, etc) to either burn the ISO's to disc, or mount & install them.

opening the iso's with winrar makes it a bit more harder to do it, but it's possible still.

I know, old thread revival Batman.

I finally got around to trying to load this. I got the catalog program loaded and got to the set up screens. My question now is which iso's do I load for the records A1 and F1? I loaded the lowest number iso's in the USA,Canada folder (for A1) and the same with the lowest number in the Frames/Overseas catalog.

I'm not getting what I would expect based on my experience with a GM EPC. I got to one place where it showed a list of models but they were all current Toyota models. I know I've got something jacked up but not sure what.

Any input on the set up is greatly appreciated.
