Who can suggest a good supplier for the MEgan racing coilover kit. I found them on ebay for $892 w/free shipping. Where else can I get them?

Hope Kevin chimes in here. I PM'd him but haven't heard back yet.

Acid has almost the same Celicas as I do. I will be putting these on my 91 GT-S w/3SGTE

Talk to me about these.

I am interested in a set after the first of the year.

I have no heard good things about the KSports, and as such, I am leaning more heavily toward the Megans.

I don't have any experiences with the other brands. With that said i have only one complaint about the megan racing units. When installing them the brake hose mounting tabs are too small. I took a die grinder to them and opened them up a little bit and it solved the problem so that was a minor set back but not a huge problem.
As for the ride quality, they are great, they also offer a lot of adjustability just by changing the dampening can change the way the car behaves. They really changed the way the car corners and as soon as funs will allow i will complement them with a nice shiny sway bar.
Adjusting the ride height is a bit of a pain, but thats just par for the course for coilovers from what i have seen.
Other than that there isn't much to say about them. Overall quality seems to be pretty good with these units.

I honestly don't understand why everyone doesn't get megans. lol. I have heard nothing but positive reviews from everyone that uses them and they are cheaper than doing a proper OEM 4 corner suspension replacement.

I have personally installed a set of these and the build quality was honestly better than what I expected.

The provided directions are pretty much garbage, but it's honestly self explanatory.

+1 on the brake fittings needing to be "adjusted".
I found that I was able to bend them slightly with some channel-locks and get them to work.
A Dremel tool would be a good solution as well.

I personally felt that even at top "height" they were quite low as far as ride height.

They do perform well though, and I would definitely recommend them.

Yeah they certainly are low!

That right there is the big thing for me.

A proper 4 corner OEM style with Koni and Eibach will set you back ~$1200.

Megans can be had for <$1000.

I'm sitting at $1170 with my Koni/Eibach set up, about to dump another 350 into it for Ground Controls. Plus I have the sway bar in there... plus wheels/tires, I've got over 2k in suspension as it is. Next car I will probably go Megan just to save myself the hassle of piecing it together. However, if I hadn't gotten a deal on my rear Koni's I would have been saving up for coil overs.
