How are yours holding up? Did you clear them?

I didn't sand the primer as much as I should have. The guys at Discount Tire chipped some of the lips. When I redo them, I will definitely use a higher quality primer, not another aerosol.

Right now I am prepping my winter wheels. I got these for a STEAL. They are 2 piece BBS RX2 rims. I am going to leave the wheel polished chrome and give the inners a good painting. I cannot decide on gunmetal with flake or another set of whites...

You should check your VIN and see if it's a limited edition. I think it might be.

How hard was the conversion to Euro mirrors? Mine are getting painted soonish and I'm curious as to what I have to look forward to.

Other than that, sweet rack on the car man, didn't know they made a rack for a out cars... let alone one that said "CELICA"

Those look like decals that were cut & applied.

Actually, the fairing for my roof rack was custom made. I have access to a laser cutter, and I used a clear acrylic sheet. The words were etched and I covered the back in masking tape. I used an xacto to trace the etched lettering and cut out a mask from the tape. Painted the letters white, and then removed the mask and painted the entire back black. You can't chip off the paint from the front, and its an even gloss from the acrylic.

I have about 5 styles I can rock out. I'd be interested in sharing a few of these fairings if anyone is interested...

As for the mirrors, I never liked the construction of the droopy 5th gen mirrors. My friends had snapped off from the narrow brittle arms. These are just converted 6th gen mirrors. I had to splice in the old wire harness onto them and drill new holes in the door plate to mount them. They fold in and I never have to worry about someone snapping them off!

The top fairing is the original. Kind of large and dated looking...

The bottom two are ones that I made. They do work, I drove 20 miles with my sunglasses on the roof, wind is deflected quite well.

Wow! What a BEAUTIFUL '92!

I just acquired one of my own - Red, just like yours - but a long way to go to get near that one!
