Those have been around for ages.

The concept is to give you just enough of a boost on a cold day to turn it over.

You are just putting an extra battery in the circuit.

mmmm... might consider getting this then until I find my parasitic drain.

Alarm randomly going off while car is sitting and trouble starting after sitting for a day has me think its a drain. I'll try to figure it out once I get access to a multimeter this week.

You'd be better off with a battery quick disconnect.

You could even wire around the disconnect to keep your radio presets if you wanted to be anal. I know I would.

haha, i know what you mean. that's the main thing that was preventing me from doing that, even tho I do have a quick-disconnect. eh, I'll see if I can find the drain during this thanksgiving break.
