I think some of the Corolla's use the C52, same year as yours.

Wouldn't it be easier to find one from the same model as yours?

this 4 year run model is scarce..whats the diff between the s54 and c52?? when i find some corollas in a stick..hows a sure way of knowing its the right trans just making sure its a 94 to 99 corolla? thats it?

If it's attached to an 'A' series engine (4AGE, 4AFE, 7AFE) it will work. The S54 will be attached to an 'S' series engine, and won't work. 90-99 Celica STs, early Corollas, and some Geo Prizsm will have the right transmission.

sounds good thankx..so when i install the new clutch kit..i stay with the 7afe..what are the varying differences of flywheels and clutchs to the 4a's and 7a's.. so if i end up gettin an 4a trans i should buy a 4a clutch kit and flywheel or do i stay with 7a purchases?? any rule of thumbs

unless its the bracketry closest to the battery u dont have to replace the trans, only the bellhousing, unless the trans itself is fucked up

theres a few diffent a series trans but they are smilar just diffent gearing
