Hey guys. Ive been looking for a wrecked GTS for sometime now and Ive finally found one. I plan on building the 2zz and doing a motor swap in my manual GT. After that I'll use whatever other parts I want and part-out the rest. The only downfall is that its automatic but to my understanding, all I need in order to make it work is a 2zz computer and wiring harness...is this correct?

I was also wondering what you guys thought of the condition and price. Other than the obvious wreckage, it looks to be in good shape with many salvageable parts. The motor starts up and runs fine with only a little over 100k on it and the body. Here are some pics of it. He's asking $1000 for it. Let me know what you think. Thanks -Rob

Id do it, if you dont have the leather and all that you can swap it over, put the engine in, all kinds of good stuff. The price really isnt that bad considering what you'd be getting, but of course see if they will take less

It's always worth haggling, but $1000 for all the parts you need is pretty nice.

I'm not sure about 7th Gens, but I assume swapping will involve you finding a manual 2zz ECU.

What? You guys are high.

That thing is worth 2 - 3x what the guys asking. My engine alone was 1900 bucks shipped. Seats are 500. The wheels are worth money, the interior bits are worth money, everythings worth money.

All he needs to swap that engine into his car is a 6 speed transmission, a 2zz flywheel and clutch kit, minor tweaks to his GT harness, and a 2zz manual ECU (preferrably a 2000/2001

haha thanks again Luni. Yeah, I'm definitely going to get it. I just wanted to make sure the swap would go smooth, with few bumps. Now I just have to find a way to get it back to my place lol
