That motor eventually gave up the ghost @ 217,648 miles it wasnt ready for a young buck like me to run it like a whipped mule!!!

so it got broken down to the core where i found oil starvation, had caused a bearing to get ground out of shape....

SO I BOUGHT A JDM 3SGE Second gen, longblock from toysport...

an excellent motor for track work.....
But a few things had to be modified to use the USDM ECU;

All the wiring connectors had to be cut and replaced with the newer ends
i had to relocate the battery due to the intake manifolds position...
and the alternator had to be relocated (at the cost of the power steering :( )
All of the emmisions crap was deleted
fuel injectors were upgraded,
the distributor from the usdm motor was used

due to a failure of a flywheel bolt it started knocking, and had to be pulled!
it sat for about a half a month before i came up with a temporary solution!

3sfe block + 3sge head = working motor!

Wth some added cooling it ran for almost six months!
