I am on vacation in Malaysia. Does anybody know if the 5th gen were ever imported here? I have not seen one around. I was thinking about going to the junk yard to check. I will go to a Toyota dealer tomorrow and ask. I Wiki it, and it said that the Celica was imported to Singapore and Thailand with the 3SGTE and 5SFE.

Look for Alvin lim on the forums. He is located in KL. I think his screen name is Tom's. He has a small shop that brings in front clips. He has a st205, er his girl friend does.
Celias are rare there so you may not find to much. I got my rear st205 brakes from there.

I think you have to set up an appointment to see him. I never went to his shop, I ended up having to have him meet me with the parts.

Are you just in KL or are you going to other places as well?

How long are you there?

Are you from there or have family?

I am in KL with friends. But I will be leaving soon. I have already been here for awhile. I will see if I can get a hold of him. If not, I will be back in about 2months time so it wouldn't matter too much.

Well have fun. And bring back some curry. MY has some of the best curry for Randung.

Not if I eat it all! The food here is amazing! I saw a few Caldina's with 3sgte in the yard but they seem a bit pricey. If al else fails...I will probably but some wheels

Be careful and watch out for knock offs. There are a lot of KOs in MY.

Thanks for the advice. There are a lot of knockoffs...and some wheels that are incredible in design. :)

If you are going a lot, you and I need to work out bringing some parts back from Alvin. He is the best source and great prices.

I probably will be going at least twice a year. I will let you know when I will be here again. But that should be great!
