All,

I am assembling a mass order for polylaminate widebody fenders for both the ST18x and ST16s. Also available should someone elect to purchase one is the ST185 CS front bumper.

The current price for the CS Bumper $225 USD. Prices are subject to change.

The current price for ST18x and ST16x widebody fenders is $364.40 USD. Euro sidemarkers are currently fixed at an additional $75.00. Prices are subject to change.

Shipping is going to be somewhere between $150-200 USD. The shipment will be sent to our office in STL and we will repackage each individual order for shipment via USPS. Unfortunately, this is the only way we can keep costs down. Otherwise we are looking at roughly $1,000 per set of fenders.

To be included in the shipment there is a deposit required. In other words, if a client doesn't have the money now they're not going to be able to do this.

The deposit will be 50% of your order (including the anticipated maximum shipping charge of $200). So if you are like me and want euro ST165 fenders with side indicators you'd deposit with me (364.40 + 75 + 200)/2 = $319.70. Since parts won't be delivered right away each client on the shipment will receive an invoice stating their deposit amount and the parts to be delivered. The reason for the deposit is to lock in an order and have a scheduled departure.

Once the order is filled with the maximum number of client's (around 7) the rest of the amount will become due. Each clients amount will be determined by the international exchange rate on the day of payment. If the amount of the item purchased goes down in USD, the client's deposit has essentially covered more than the initial 50% deposit. If it goes up in USD, then the client is a little under the previously determined 50% deposit. For example, if I made my previously determined $319.70 deposit today and the rest became due next week the international exhange rate would've changed. So if that day the price for the fenders dropped to $348.18, then the final bill would be ($348.18 + 75 + 200 - 319.70) = $303.48 for the rest of the bill. The initial deposit in this case ended up being about 51.3% of the total price paid.

As stated previously, once the shipment arrives at our office we will repack each order individually and send the parts out to their final destinations. At this time we'll find out what the total cost to ship to your door is. One of two things will happen: #1 The price per delivery will fall below the $200 you sent to us or, #2 The price per delivery was not covered by the $200 you sent to us. In the case of #1 the remainder of the shipping funds will be refunded to the client. In the case of #2 the balance required to send the packages will be paid by Red Rocket Performance & Design. That's right, we'll eat it. In the essence of transparency we'll send you a copy of the receipt to prove we ate it.

So, as everyone can see, there are a lot of nuts and bolts to this. There are moving parts here so it requires interested parties to be financially secure and responsible. Otherwise this isn't for you. No offense, but you can't be waiting tables for tips to be able to engage in this, especially if you've other bills to pay. And you can't work five hours per week at autzone while you're in college to be able to engage in this. You have to have money now and money the moment I PM you to say it's time to pay the rest. There is no backing out because it screws everyone else on the list.

Do not reply to this thread. There is a separte thread here in the Red Rocket Performance & Design forum if you need to ask questions. PM me if you are interested and I will add your username to a list below.

Thanks people!

So, Have these been delivered to people yet? Anyone with pictures? fitment feedback etc?

Nope. It is cost prohibitive to ship these individually. Hence the list at the beginning of the thread.

I'm sure there are narrow body celica owners on here who wouldn't mind having the option available.

I know I certainly would be interested.

I am seriously considering it. If you can get me a good deal on some Megan racing coilovers to boot I might be able to pull off both. Kevin, check your PM

Carolina, I got it this morning. Just haven't had time to answer. In short, I can get you a good deal on the megans if that's the route you're going to take.

got your PM. Looking like I might do this too. If I got in on the group now and it started, what would be your guess for the 2nd payment timewise? I could do the deposit now but I couldn't pull off the second payment until after Christmas.

Since this thing came together slowly the concept of the deposit didn't pan out. If you were the last person to get in on this shipment then the all of the money would be due immediately. This way the shipment can get moving.

So whats the reason for polylaminate fenders? I have a rusting dented fender and was looking at getting one new replacement and noticed this thread.

I do not sell single units. These are sold as a set and there are no exceptions to that rule.

I am in just in case it wasn't clear. Kevin, PM me with instructions when you are ready.

I feel ok then offering my stock GT-S driver's side fender for sale once we do this order. My passenger side one is not one you want.

Unarmed, if you need only stock the driver's side widebody fender let me know.

No I was considering getting a set. Just wont be till tax time IF they are still available then.

Also the openings for the side markers are optional right? I am going for a stock appearance on the fenders.

They are standard unless the customer asks for USDM styling.

They will still be available then. The problem will not be availability, it will be a lack of buyers. It is cost prohibitive to ship these in any manner except for a sea pallet with 7 or 8 clients to spread the cost with. So they'll be here, but will you? Or the other people fence sitting on the idea? As soon as I close out this order I'll start a new one with a new thread.

So far I have everyones contact and paypal information. Everyone but Joe's (Terracar), that is. I contact Joe last week both here and at alltrac.net. He has ssen both of the messages, yet I have had no reply. I sent him another message today on both sites.

He has normally been enthusiastic about these fenders, but perhaps he's getting cold feet. We'll see what happens next.

Sorry Chris, I got your PM and then it got burried by a bunch of other people. I, myslef, don't know who the inbound carrier is. I'm going to contact Poland today to see what's up. Metdeath is having delivery issues as well.....on a pair of motor mounts at that.

I did indeed get my mounts, granted, this was a while ago, I've put a few miles on them since then. Still fairly happy with them.

Death, does 'fairly' happy with them suggest a certain degree of unhappiness that does with it?
