View Full Version : Laws regarding fuel cell in trunk

the Camry needs a new fuel tank because the one in/on the car is seeping fuel, the 2 metal lines running from the fuel fill door to the tank are also shoot and so is most of the fuel line going to and from the motor bay, I would like to replace the fuel lines with steal braded hose and the fuel tank with a in trunk fuel cell but Im worried about passing inspection in Maine and the rules/regs that go along with it. Dose any one have any experience with this in Maine or any other state for that matter? :brick:

Get everything you need at a wrecking yard. Remove, replace, done.

Yes Andy due to rust, the roads up here are really really bad (potted and salty) for over 7 months a year. I wish it was that simple shadowlife25 as going to the junk yard but its not due to the fact that every one there will be as bad or worse off then the one I have in the car now. It leaves me with buying a new oem one and paying out the ass or a fuel cell
