Calling out all Celicas in this area of the Tri-States. I would like to get a meet in before the year is over and the weather turns to s***. I am willing to host at a local park, or even my place.
If your in the area, please post, even if not interested.

Hey. Its tom. I'm down for a celica meet before I put it away for the winter. Pretty sure Nate will be too. Post something like this up on newcelica too. Ill post it over at alltrac.net

08-27-2009, 04:06 PM
I have it on NC, toyota nation, and mr2oc, if they wanna come too.

08-27-2009, 04:55 PM
Al right ill put it up on at.net. Were you thinking like a sidecut park meet ? With food and what not? Around when we're you thinking about day/month wise?

08-27-2009, 04:58 PM
Farnsworth park might also work. Or maybe a downtown meet? Idk just throwing out ideas

08-27-2009, 05:04 PM
I just had a nice meet at sidecut. farnsworth is another nice area, or we could head out to maumee bay.
Date wise- im thinking late september, early october, just so people have some notice.

08-28-2009, 12:48 AM
Maumee bay is another idea. That's works for date wise same as I was thinking

08-28-2009, 04:22 AM
woot for a celica meet lawl.... keep me updated on this crap as im not on very much haha

08-28-2009, 05:24 AM
Too bad I left the Celica behind in Manchester...

08-28-2009, 06:26 AM
Posted on 6gc as well :)

08-28-2009, 10:36 AM
Dates- September 26 or October 3
Location- Maumee Bay State Park or Sidecut Metro Park
Plenty of parking at both.

08-28-2009, 04:09 PM
Ok cool thanks blood money for posting this on 6gc. Ill are which of those days I can get off work.
I think maumee bay might be better scenery wise and mabye easier for non locals to find but its up to you austin. I'm helping with what I can

08-29-2009, 05:25 AM
I'd be up for a 2 1/2 hour drive if there will be a good turn out... I have 3 Celicas I could bring if I have enough trailers. I know some one in the Ann Arbor area that might bring his 7th gen. What kinda date are we looking at?

08-29-2009, 05:29 AM
We should meet Autocross or rallycross event so we can see how the Celicas compare!

08-29-2009, 06:42 AM
i like the auto x idea.... guess ill have to fix some chit lol auto x then maumee bay state park? i like the idea of maumee bay. PLENTY of parking. and beach... beach ... sun.... food.... hmm... lets do eet....

08-29-2009, 02:46 PM
I'm definitely interested! But you already know this, Austin.C

Beukie, whom do you know in AA?

And weren't you planning on an OTD at waterford hills? They have in either on the 5th or 26th...

- Oleg.

08-30-2009, 02:45 AM
Oleg.....I thought you lived in AA....I guess I'm wrong. I won't be trailering the silver top Celica down to Ohio. I'll just drive the gts. Also I know some people down in Lima so I would vist them.

I am in a debate between OTD and Rallycross. I'm thinking about doing the rally on the 5th then the OTD later. I defiantly want to get out to the track with the car ST Celica before the year is over. BTW would you be up for racing in the Rallycross event, if so I would let you drive my car.

08-30-2009, 02:47 AM
Ohh one of my brothers buddys just bought a 7th gen I'm sure he would roll with us

08-30-2009, 02:53 AM
I would love to try ralycross! But I'd feel bad driving your car. I'll just borrow my mom's corolla and give it a wash before i take it back... http://www.xceedspeed.com/forums/images/smilies/suspect.gif

08-30-2009, 02:55 AM
p.s. there's over 240 entries signed up for the toledo airport autox tomorrow...
a silver 7gen too in ST, that should be fun to see!

08-30-2009, 02:57 AM
We should meet for the OTD on the 26th at Waterford....that might be to long of a drive for some ppl though. You could race or just spectate and there is a few parks in the area. Or Oct. 11 is a Fostoria event and on the 25th is Toledo plant both are great sites. sare the web sites.

How about Oct 4? Some of the guys on at.net told me its better on Sundays for them to make it and it gives us time to organize food and such. How bout a potluck type of thing?

08-31-2009, 02:05 PM
October 4th works for me.
