Just put the winter tires on the mini (I know, a little early) I wanted to soften them up a little before the winter hit since they have that shinny look of hard rubber from sitting. I took the mini down the street and did the steering wheel right to left a few times while getting on it.. :hehe: boost kicked in and the street has 2 zig zaggy tire lines down it looks like this :burn: Traction control was trying to compensate but you know how that goes...
shinny layer is gone from the tires now :wiggle:

Haha I'm driving around on winter tires too.

I've chirped them quite a few times in the last week, still used to AWD I guess...

The grip on my winters is no where near the grip on my summers but the ride is a bit smoother. Major down side is the H rating of the winters... I need the V rating for the mini. Alot of the time my crusing speed on the autobahn is 140+ mph, the H rated are just no safe for that type of driving. :(

Do they have special trannys in Germany? My car would be at like a million rpm's at that speed.

6 speed Mini Cooper S I have brought it up to 150mph but the wife was a little upset  and I slowed it down. :slap:

My normal commute route doesn't allow me to o it because of traffic though.
