Also I don't have any pics of it right now but the good and the front bumper don't exactly line up properly and I have no idea how to repair it. Any wisdom?http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/kmlively/MR2/DSCF1071.jpg
Soon to be replaced with a 20v!

For the surface rust, try some frog's hair to break it down, then just spray some Rustoleum over it.

So you decided to buy it. Nice. Did you get the deal you wanted on it?

Yeah I got it for 13 I feel like I got a good deal. I actually went and looked at one in SC that was absolute junk and went back to charlotte and bought the white car at about 10pm. It was a long ass day.

I agree, these things are a blast. Though totally underpowered, they just feel like a little go cart you can safely push to the limits.
My buddy has one with racing seats, detachable steering wheel, full coil overs and drag radials as an autox car. Its a blast, but just needs like 50 more hp to really rip.

I can imagine.

Have fun with it. I look forward to seeing it at the Dragon this year or next.

This year? Are we going in the fall? I will be at the spring meet for sure. My goal is to have the swap done get all the cosmetic issues sorted out and swap the interior from my silver car done by christmas. Maybe a set of bushings too.

There is a smaller meet this fall, in October. I don't know if Chaos will make it, she needs tires and some suspension work.

I did wheels, tires and some suspension work. But when I have eaten through a set of tires between then and now (actually a couple month ago...) it leads me to think that the rest of the suspension work needs to be done.

Hence the 20v silvertop on blacktop electronics. I'm hoping for 130whp 110wtq
Probably about 90hp stock.

My wife says MR2 stands for Man Rambling 2much. :lolhittin
