I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO POST THIS!!!!.......well today i spent almost 2 k on my turbo and monifold. which puts me at 15k on the engine... im thinking of selling it.. becuase of how much money this engine is taking... this engine has the best of the best.. anything u can think of it has... soo maybe if someone wants a allready built race engine , shoot me a price and i might sell it

welcome to racing! you want to go fast you need to pay. sadly you'll never get that much money out of the motor. post up a spec sheet.

Power is directly proportional to money.

Granted, $15k in a V8 would have you well over 1000HP. ;)

I am sorry that you are so easily discouraged. Every few months you get upset when you tally up the overall expenditure on your project, and say you're selling it. I would seriously recommend you finish it.

1. Because you have put this much in and come this far!

2. No one else will ever give you near what you have invested.

3. You will have the satisfaction of having seen it through to completion.

Hang in there bud! :)

its terrible when you look back and realize how much you have spent over 2-3 years and realize what you could have bought lol, I do it all the time :(

So you have the engine built, and a turbo kit.. put it in the car and go!

most recent add on besides the turbo kit that didnt fit... is my hole fuel system.. i got all earls lines and fittings with a nice fuel cell.... soo if the turbo kit fit. i would just need clutch and axles

i bought the turbo kit becuase i needed a nice turbo and a strong header... well i found a extream boost gt30 turbo kit for sale... and after i bought it i found out the mr2 header design is diffrent then my celica... soo. im going to sell the turbo kit... i have posted a thread about avaliable headers for the celica and so far all the headers i saw or been told about are for mr2's and not celica ... full race has a 1300 dollar header but its for a mr2... does anyone know of a non ebay brand header that is really strong for a 91 celica with the 2nd gen 3sgte

i always wondered why the 2ND gen 3sgte has SO many exhaust manifold bolts..... well if u bolt on the celica header there Will be 2 bolt holes opposite sides of each other that are not used.. i always wondered y.. well i guess now i know... since Mr2's have there alternator mounted on the back of the block near the intake manifold, that means those extra 2 bolt holes can be used now.. because the celica alternator and bracket set up sit really close to the header and u can not use those extra bolts holes because of clearance issues.. so overall alternator interferes with Mr2 headers
