T - Street Tire Class
# T Entrant
1 T #92 - Joey Sim
Toyota Tacoma X-runner Blue (HS*)

(Plus fast runs Side 1 VS Side 2)
Left side:
22.936 (indexed time)
30.550 (scratch time)
(0,0) (Penalties; Cones/Gates)
0.558/2.363 (RT;.500 = perfect/60ft)

Right side:
22.446
29.897
(0,0)
0.630/2.281

Now, go easy on my for the 60ft times... remember we're talking about a 3600lbs truck that doesn't make traction worth beans.

Was also good enough for 12th spot overall. Put me into the Open Challenge against Ron Bauer (of Speed Channels "Setup" Season 1 Fame). Had him by 1.2sec on the the right side but redlighted on the left side. :(

Oh well.

Good job! Ever considered rock crawling competition or 4x4 trials? Requires similar driving skill except the corners are vertical... :)

Not a fan of going slow.

That's the think though it doesn't have to be slow. Slow when you have to be and judicious use of the throttle at the oportuned time. And the there's the gravity and endorphins... The sound of shreaking metal and the smell of smoking tires... :) I get off on both kinds of driving.

To me the experience is very similar just in a different package. You should come out to our 4x4 trials event in Montana, I'll give you a set of keys to a locked up Toyota. It's hammered all ready so I don't even care if you flop it. I'll bet you could beat most of the guys who enter just because you know how to drive.

No shit! 7M swap! Nice project... That what I'm talking' about. I'm doing a 3RZ swap in my '94. You guys have some awsome trails over there.

Now you need to get a few of those boys to come over and kick ass. Grand prize last year was a set of 37" pitt bull tires. 2nd place won a power tank. Almost makes the drive pencil out. Funny thing last year was this $120K rock buggy with rear steering and a massive crate motor got spanked by 5 Toyota 4Runners, the most expensive of which probably didn't break $10K to build! It's all about the driver...

Anyway this is becoming a massive tangent so I'll stop now.
