Just got this one. A good amount of body damage, but otherwise fairly intact. It's a coupe (has a trunk), automatic. Let me know what you want/need and make an offer - the car was cheap, so I may just take lowball offers for stuff.

Thinking...

How's the plastic trim behind the quarter panel windows?

And if that air dam is in tact kungFUBAR will be intersted.

Hey man, My two 4th gens have a laundry list of crap that they need, how much would you charge for me to come over and just have at it for a few hours?

I need mostly exterior stuff, some wiring and maybe a few interior pieces depending on color.

I could probably pay fairly well if you are open to the offer.

I'm open to that. Can't really tell you what I'd want since I don't know everything you need...but I'm sure we can come to a reasonable agreement.

And the air dam didn't make out so well...

Well, the door looks fairly intact, so I would probably take that. The front grill piece looks repairable. It's the 3SFE so I might want the entire wiring harness b/c of the ghetto rigging I found in mine. I could use some of the hardware from the pop-up headlights (parts I need look intact). I can't tell if the interior is blue or grey, but either way I could maybe use the seats.

I don't know whether or not they are compatible, but if the front axles and hubs/brakes would work on an 86 GTS, then I would be game for those as well.

So, as I said, I'd be pulling a butload of random stuff.

If it's too much hassle, I understand.

Also, I would maybe consider maybe paying you a flat price to have my way with it after you are done parting out what all the other members want.

For $350, you can come take whatever you want. For $400, you can take the entire car. :)

My only requirement would be some notice - since the things you want will immobilize the car, I need to get it parked somewhere that I can put it on stands and work around it until it's gone.

I'll tell you what, I won't be up in that neck of the woods for at least a couple of weeks, so you can part out what ever you want. I'll give you a PM when if I decide to come out and we can make arrangements.

Sound good?

No go on the axles.

Hubs/brakes will swap over, but are a downgrade to 4x100 lugs with smaller rotors. You should also have a bit of extra camber adjustment on that 86, you'll loose it with the '89 knuckle.

Edit: I forgot to mention, calipers are the same. Caliper brackets are not.

Hmm... You willing to strip out the dash harness?

I can do low ball, let's see, $50 for the harness, $25 for the trim?

Is the center piece of the air dam unbroken? I really only need the passenger side piece and the middle one :)

Tail light assemblies are different from the coupe to hatchback; it won't fit your 165.

Didn't get any notifications and (obviously) haven't checked this forum for a while. I sold this entire car. I've got a 5th gen that I'll posting shortly.
