I don't have a part # but what is the point of a TRD radiator cap? Higher pressure? Couldn't you just get a higher pressure cap at napa or something?

But then it wouldn't say TRD on it...

For cool purposes...I kinda want one...but don't want to spend money on that.

I can only find the listing back to 94, but AIRC they use the same cap.

Now that makes sense. Just make sure it's a real one and not a knockoff. There was a guy at the dragon run that was having all kinds of problems and I think they were almost all related to the pressure cap.

Nah the st185 use a different cap, in know this since i have one in my hand right now. Just got it off ebay, didnt match the pic. They accepted my request for a refund witch is cool but a bit of a hassle. Anyway I saw a guy who use a Apexi Gt radiator cap on his st165 so i'll probly go with that, too bad cause the TRD one looks great and the fact that its 100% toyota always makes me smile.

Thanks for the part numbers but you mixed them up. i'm looking on the back of the package and 16401-SP002 is the 1.3 and 16401-SP020 is the 1.5. 16401-SP030 is for the mr2 AW1#-SW20 wich is the one I have now.Thats what it says on the back of the package anyway.

Do you have the link for the catalog you use, pics would help definetly.

Keep in mind the part numbers have changed a few times. This is another reason why just ordering something from the part number can get you in trouble. Might want to double check with a dealership that does a lot of TRD parts sales. The 16401- part numbers are several years old, and they've been through PTR0 etc. etc. and maybe another series. Call Toyota Todd or Champion Toyota, unless you're just wanting to find part numbers the hard way for some reason :)

Went to the local dealership today and not only do not have it but it apparently doesnt exist. This is turning into a real hassle for a simple rad cap. Like i said in my previous post i might just go with the apexi gt cap but i would need a part number, anything will do at this point so if anybody uses a 1.3bar cap for the st165 let me know which one you went with.
