Found this dude with a 3sgte from a 91 GT4 locally with apparently "cracked crankshaft" for $1200-1300CND. He ended up buying a replacement rather than getting a new crank.

Should I? =/

Has the tranny, ecu, wiring harness, etc..

You will end up being at least another $600 into it after you rebuild it.

If you have the monies, I would just use one of your 5s bottom ends and build a stroker setup. More power, more potential, more torque... So I would say, buy it for all the stuff it comes with and stoke it out. :)

Just remember if you go with a stroker you'll be at least another $1k into the motor.
Has he opened the engine and inspected for all possible damage? If he hasn't, that's way too much. Even if he has, that's still a bit much for a damaged engine.

+1 for stroker if your planning on a build. No replacement for displacement.

Otherwise, at that price plus the cost of a rebuild, not worth it IMO.
