So, I just picked up an 85 GT coupe from a guy for $1500. 142K mileage body and 90-100k on the 22RE. It's got the normal wear and tear on a car that's about 25 years old, but the engine and trans are awesome. I'll post pics later. It does need paint, but all I've seen is surface rust so far. Interior is clean! Needs: working side mirrors, working stereo, AC? It's a n open rearend not LSD, but you can't have everything. :bigthumbu

Sweet! I always keep an eye out for a nice 3rd gen GTS. I want independent rear suspension rather than the solid rear axle of the GT. Post pictures.

Yeah I'm probably gonna want that. We did confirm it's an open rear end. I know the GTS is more desirable but I had to go with what was available and what I could afford. I'm getting pics now!

Nooooooo...I like it when our old cars get no luv and peeps think they're just old technology. The more they multiply. The more everyone starts wanting them. Then the parts will be even more hard to find. Enjoy the car but mums the word. :bigthumbu

Well I hit the big surface rust on the roof line over the drivers' side. I also had to fix a broken wheel stud on the front driver's wheel.
