What trim level? also, what trans? Condition?

It seems like a reasonable price assuming it is nice.

Is it a stick shift or an automatic transmission?

Any rust?

GT or ST?

Its a stick donno about the rust or if it is a GT or ST. Im currently trying to get a time to go check it out but from what the current owner tells me and the pics its in good-great condition.

Well, basically, as long as the body is in good shape, and everything is mechanically sound, I would say it is worth it.

The GT will have a 5sfe 2.2L 4cylinder.

The ST will have a 7afe 1.8L 4 cylinder.

The GT would have a little more HP and is pretty torquey. It gets around 30 MPG. The transmission on the GT is very good as well.

The ST has around 110 HP stock, has enough power to get around, kinda peppy for what it is. I have been getting around 40MPG with my 94 ST. The transmissions are great on these if you are just planning on driving it. But if you are wanting to make a lot more HP, they dont hold up the greatest.

does the 2.2L and 1.6L engines have a different number of valves? the engine is a 16 valve and it is the 25th anniversary model.

16v should be an ST IIRC

The 6th generation celica did not come with a 1.6L engine. They either had a 2.2 or 1.8. Both are 16V.

The 5sfe looks like this.....

The 7afe looks like this...
