So I converted my climate control and gauge lights with leds in my 6th gen. Here are some pics.

I did the climate control blue, and the gauge cluster cool white.

I still have to do the window switch.

Well idk, at night time it looks fine in person. There are only 3 bulbs for backlight in the cluster.

Nice job. The climate control isn't too bright? Did you find out what the mcd was?

It is pretty bright when you dont have the lights on, but once you turn them on, they dim down. I still havent figured that out, but I could bring a few with me to the dragon and hook you up with some..

Looks good yo. Pictures probably make it seem brighter than it is. Nice job. Should have done the led thing when I had my cluster out a few years back.

Its not too hard at all.

Its kind if cool though. Getting the 6th gen cluster out is SOOOO much easier that the 5th gen. You dont have to screw with the climate control, the ignition surround bezel is just snapped into place, and there are 2 screws holding the upper bezel in above the cluster. And then of course 4 screws holding in the cluster itself.

Nah thats cool, I appreciate it though. I did blue in my last one, I'm gonna do red in this one eventually.
