So Grot came over today and we put a little elbow grease into Chaos and fixed a few things I have been meaning to get around to. I bought a new set of wheels and tires earlier this week, and I was a bit skeptical of them as I was not fond of the design. They had some Yokohama Paradas on them with more than half life left, the price was right so I grabbed them. Last year I swapped Ben a post facelift 5th Gen nosepiece for a maroon fender, but I never got around to installing it, so we did that today as well.

She still has some work to go, and she is in need of a serious cleaning, but at least she is starting to look like a Celica again.

Here are the new wheels and tires, they are Drag DR10s I think. After the install I was more impressed with them.

They are 17x7 with a +40mm offset, so they set a little farther in than my Enkeis did, but they look decent. However, I might be the first Narrowbody to get some spacers in the rear.

Here she is with the new fender. It is maroon, but it looks better than my old smashed pink fender. I finally installed my replacement corner I bought from Darth Ripley a couple of years ago.

The body lines are nice and straight now, a few dings here and there to pull and fill and she will be ready to prep for her new paint. Kinda...

A stretch of time with a 2lb sledge and a rubber mallet and the fender is rolled with plenty of room for the tire and suspension to do it's thing. That is the last spot of body work left to repair from our wreck almost 4 years ago.

She has come a long way since I first bought her, through several looks and so forth, but damn, she has been a steadfast companion.

I still have a brake install to do, a spot of welding, a new hood and then I am gonna shoot her in flat black until I decide to complete her (which at our pace could be another 8 years. :hehe: .)

I love that damn car. :D

Nice wheels, they're Volk CE28N replicas. Looks good, it will all come together when you get her painted.

4 lug how?

The 5th Gen ST was 4 lug until `92.

While this limits my brake options, it broadens my wheel options as I run a 4x100 pattern, which is the same thing that Hondas run. Which is where my wheels came from.

Yes, she has 20% all the way around, except the driver's window, which was replaced after a break in. It has 5%.
