View Full Version : RC Hood Part Question

I'm considering the RC Hood. I have saved this website with all the part numbers.http://www.alltrac.net/body/ST185RC.htm
Im curious though. I checked 1sttoyotaparts but they dont have the Left and Right Ornaments. What are these exactly? Is there anywhere else i can find them? thanks

they are the vents in the back corners of the hood. around the same placement as the all-trac vents

^^ Exactly. Unfortunately, they are no longer available. So your best bet is to find someone who has a spare set. Either that or get an entire hood from a clip.

What do you mean from a clip?

:squint: rly? .................................................

I'll allow someone else to field this one.

A clip is basically half a car. The front clip is from the dash board to the nose of the car, so you would want to find a hood off the "front half" of an all-trac.

dang...what are the chances someone has a spare? 1/100000000??? Dont they sell those ornament pieces in Carbon Fiber? Maybe I'm crazy but I sware I could have seen those before on maybe ebay.

Bet those are expensive. And what if you don't want it in carbon fiber?

Then you better start searching

The ornaments are a avail at yur dealership i bought them 3 months ago, u have to include the two digit color code for black on the end of the part number for it to show up. I think its 02

I thought that they were completely out as they had depleted the JDM stock on those Andy?
So if you include the color code at the end of the pn# they can still get 'em? :) sweet.

i thought the same thing. bugs gave me a number for them and i punched them in 1sttoyota.com and it popped up went to local dealer and got a set in 3 days. easy.

Wow! That is really great to know. Maybe now when I want a set I won't get raped for them. Last set I saw go for $300. lame.
