hi guys

the mr2 4 2 1 5sfe header fits in a celica 5sfe motor?

Apparently it does not. I don't know this for a fact, just what others have said. I think it only has to do with the secondary half of the header though so I don't see why it couldn't be made to fit. As far as attaching to the engine, it's all the same.

thx for the answer

the only header I found that is sold on ebay but as everyone knows is 4-1, it's worth buying?

my car is a toyota celica GT 1990

The issue with the MR2 header vs the Celica header is that the MR2 5S sits perfectly vertical, in the Celica it sits pointed slightly to the back. So the "b" pipe doesn't line up very well. You'd be better off going to a GOOD exhaust shop and asking them to make you a true 4-2-1 header.

here's a pic...

also, i had to elongate the holes on the O2 sensor a little, because the studs on the header were too close together. only by a little.

Other than that, it fit fine, without modification, and came with gaskets, which is a plus. :wiggle:

That's what I want to know. Fresh, you keep going back and forth on this thing. Is it happening or isn't it? If you say it is then I would save your money for the turbo project rather than buying a header for an n/a that you will just get rid of when you turbo it.
