My alloys are a bit shaby looking how would i go about filling, sanding and sparying.

smooth with sanding, get some bondo or something, sand smooth and primer, then paint.

I couldnt stop laughing because of "uncle dave's" avatar. lol.

Jb weld would probably work better on the wheels than anything else because it will adhere better to the metal, and it is stronger than most other stuff.

jb weld is harder to sand.

automotive fillers, or "bondo", doesn't stick to well to wheels considering they are usually alloy. I'd use some time of metal compound or jb weld, and it does sands easily

JB weld sands just fine.

^^ Sure does. It will also not just fall off with road vibrations like bondo will.
