I have sinned against you... I have sinned against the lord, and I've sinned against myself. I've defected. I'm a bad person.

... I bought a 2002 Infiniti I35. :) I like it a lot. I still have the Celi but I love my Infiniti.

Thats an awesome car.

And i got to test drive a G35 Sedan a while back, that thing handles like no other.

I likes to cruise at about a buck forty on the interstate

I eventually want a z32 300zx because I am a sadist and like to work on cars that aren't meant to be worked on.

But to me Nissan comes up with some pretty bad ass cars.

You must be to want to work on that car. My dad has one... Yikes. Might I also recommend the MR2 and WRX. :)

Thought about the mr2. I hate wrx's cuz everyone has them. I like cars that are more rare. I'd get an evo before a wrx. Way better low end. 3sgte's are very hard to work on as well.

hmmmm around my area its the reverse...everyone and their mother has an evo and the sti seems quite a bit more rare

lol the st165 is the rarest car i heve ever seen, there is a total of four i've seen in person and three of those ran now only one does- but mine will be alive by early next month or sooner

It really is geographical. Here there is a decent balance of the 2.
Personally I think they are basically the same. Their numbers are pretty much even and looks, well, I could take 'em or leave 'em.

I still think it's funny that even the EVO and STI owners tell me they wish they could have an AllTrac. :D

My order would be evo, then alltrac, then wrx. The evo has better gear ratios which give it slightly better low end. But, true, the wrx and evo are very similar.

Idk. To me it seems there are more wrx's up here, but I did see an evo the other day.

I know the z is a bitch to work on, but its rarity and the ability to tune the stock ecu which is capable of very high horsepower through remapping make it very appealing to me. It is also very cheap. Also I have yet to experience a rwd sports car. Idk, its just a love affair for the z with me with its sleek, streamlined beauty and the twin turbo beast that it houses. I figure if I build it up the right way, paying attention to detail and quality parts, it should be reliable and I shouldn't have to work on it that much.

True that. That is what makes it so appealing as well as the st185.

He bought an I35, not a G35.

The I35 is FWD and based on the Maxima.

Yeah, serious snoozefest

Definitely. I got it for its quiet, its amenities, automatic comfort, roadtrip qualities, etc, etc... It's a great car.

My biggest beef with it is the car is its handling which I will do something about very soon. It's wayyyy too floaty on the freeway to where if I'm going 70 and the wheel is pointed anywhere except forward, it feels like I'm going to go sideways on the freeway and crash. Not to mention it just feels unsettling.

Now I've seen some badass Maximas, and I'm thinking about getting with those fools again. See if they can recommend some good struts to buy. Otherwise it's a great car. I don't regret it. I wish it had a 5spd auto, too, but going from 130HP to 250-something HP, It's not a big deal to me...
