the member Slider had Hella horns, which sound a little more boss. My personal fave so far are the ones that came on my type of rangers, they have a low tone, make quite a bit of noise, and are deffinately more boss

Before I actually bought my celica, I was driving it, and someone pulled out in front of me. I of course gave them the horn, said whoa...now thats a horn that lets you know whos boss...not you...lol

Did you see the stock wiring on the horns? It's tiny. Try running a relay with some thicker gauge wiring to them.

^ if you switched horns and that didn't work this would be my next suggestion as well.

I put a Hella horn from Griots garage in my AllTrac. I is pretty damn loud. No more honking my horn and not being heard!

Snake one from an early 90's Buick Park Avenue.

They sound like train horns.

Or take one from an Alfa Romeo. Loud as heck.

My dad put air horns on his celica... No more of the tiny little "Excuse me".. Now its like

"GTFO NOW!"

There are quite a few options out there, it just depends one what you personally want.

One of my friends got the high and low tone out of a 1960's something Biscayne and put them in his 2000 turbo'ed civic si, loud and he sure gets a lot of weird looks from hillbillies expecting something more nascar-ish

Just a common Bosch relay (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=330-070) . 85 to ground, 30 to power (make sure to put a fuse inline), 87 to new horns, and 86 to wire from old horns. This way the horns will get all the power they need, instead of going through the stock crappy wiring. Here's a site explaining how a relay works http://www.bcae1.com/relays.htmfor the curious

So I was at Meijer earlier today and I was looking at some automotive things and I noticed the horns that they have. They have a airhorn setup for about $25 that I'm thinking of picking up that comes with the air pump and relays and everything. It includes a high and low tone horns in the kit. Anyone have any experience with these? They also have a couple more for about the same price but I liked the price/look of these.
