Its kind of personal preference. .032 inches I think is the norm, but I've heard members gapping them as low as .028.

Are the BKR7EIX iridum plugs? If so you arent supposed to gap those.

^ haha. totally missed the IX part. Just skimmed through the BKR7E part. He's totally right. DON'T GAP those plugs. You are running one step colder for increased boost like you should. You'll be fine.

They are Iridium plugs and come gapped at .030. I cleared this up with the OP via PM. ;)

NEW plug gap is supposed to be .031"; for a completely stock engine with platinum plugs. Maximum allowable gap is .039" for the same.

Changing to irridium, or any change in the engine [higher boost, intake, exhaust, ect] can effect the ideal gap.

You should be running the largest gap you can get away with [if you're misfiring it's too large].

BTW, you CAN gap irridium plugs. You need to be VERY careful however. They say not to because the tip is very fine and easily broken.

Thanks for the clarification J***** :)

For any reading this, this is in reference to the 3SGTE engine.
