I am looking to install a voltmeter, and oil pressure gauge into my celica.
what kind do i need to get electric or mechanical, is there any other gauges that would be vital for me to have

where is the best place to mount them is there a company that makes a pillar pod for a 1992?

theres always a temp gauge wich could be usefull , but you have a gt , if it would be turbo , you would need a lot more ... temp , volt and oil are a good start

For a volt meter you could get a cluster out of a GTS, that has one built in. For the gauge pods Lotek (http://gaugepods.com/toyota.html)

Do you not have a volt meter on your cluster???

I would get Oil temp too....
you are willing to spend, i would get a Defi Meter with Defi Gauges or similar products from Apexi, Blitz or HKS, they seem to be the best and also the best looking.

Depends on what the gauge is, if it's the oil temp/press, I'd opt for electrical so you don't have to run hot oil into the cabin.

I am not a piller pod person people always want to race when they see them. So I made my own.

If you like it I did a little write up about it.

You should be able to use a t-tap to run an aftermarket gauge.

I would get oil pressure, volt, and more accurate water temp. Unless cost is an issue, in which case oil pressure for sure, and whatever you want from there.
