Okay, so i ordered a boost controller and TurboXS RFL BOV today for good prices. Picked up a boost gauge locally too.

I'll have a two slot A-pillar pod to use.

So, I'll have boost and...

Which other gauge should I get?

I still say EGT since its a boosted car, and the boost will be going up even more.

Haha I know I figured I'd just start spitting out random gauges.

+1 for EGT if modding. EGT is perhaps the single most important gauge for forced induction with modding. It will tell you if you are running dangerously lean at dangerous combustion temps. AFR is right up there as well. Oil pressure if not modding too much. But if upping boost, EGT, ftw.

I'll back up then others, AFR or EGT. And by AFR I mean a wideband.

or a Gaydar so it can be pegged every time you crawl behind the wheel of your Short Bus.

:hehe:

If you don't have an Oil Pressure gauge, go for that for sure.

Otherwise I would go for a Wideband or even just a cheap AFR meter.

Stock fuel delivery will be retained.

Boost is only getting upped a few pounds.

The other issue is that this engine is laid out similar toa 2ZZGE, as in the exhaust manifold faces the firewall. On mine its the samee, as the turbo and stuff is against the firewall. Kind of a pain to get to. An AFR would be easier to hook up.

Wideband AFR, if you can't afford that then an EGT.

My vote sell the 2pod and buy a 3pod holder and get both egt and an uego(wideband) you'll need both. I win

I have a standard AF gauge right now.

I can't find a cheap EGT locally though

Narrowband AFR gauge is useless, it's just a pretty light show.

Yeah, last night we hooked up his boost gauge and AFR.

Later this week he has some other little bits coming for it that will make this short bus ABSOLUTELY awesome.

:hehe:
